Western Illinois Dreamers operates 5 Welcoming Centers that serve as one-stop human service
centers, providing comprehensive and holistic case management and service coordination to immigrants, refugees, and English Learners in a linguistically, culturally sensitive manner.
ABOUT US
Our highly qualified staff have advanced education, training, bilingual skills, and diverse backgrounds, including 1rst and second-generation immigrants from Argentina, Belgium, Colombia, Honduras, Malaysia, Mexico, and Spain.
We are familiar with the benefits and services provided by local, state and federal agencies, and can link individuals and families to appropriate services as needed through case management or referral.
The Western Illinois Dreamers Welcoming Centers deliver trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, holistic services to support immigrant and refugee social integration with empathy and understanding.
We coordinate social services in individual geographic locations through unique community alliances. These alliances are forged with local service providers to address common challenges in the delivery of services and to enhance service coordination and effectiveness.
We also host a variety of community education workshops to help immigrants and refugees learn about resources and information that can advance their successful integration and build the capacity of immigrant and refugee communities.
